Bidders should note a letter has been added to the legal pack by The Vendor stating the following : "Please note we have today (21st May 2024) received notice from an individual suggesting, without any accompanying evidence, that they believe they have been in exclusive occupation of the property since 1983 and may have accrued certain rights as a result of this. National Highways Limited dispute this position and believe, based on the information provided to us, that any claim to have accrued rights binding the Property is spurious and without merit. As shown by the Auction Pack provided, National Highways have had registered title to the Property since our completion of its acquisition in 1996 and the Property has previously been leased under a Farm Business Tenancy (to a different person from that claiming the benefit of disputed rights) over several years.
